      There are many reasons that animals make noise – just like there are many reasons that we make noise!

      Some animals, such as monkeys, will make loud noises to scare away predators or to alert their friends of danger.

      Other animals, like birds, will sing songs in order to attract mates or to say “go away, this is my tree!” to other birds.

      Other animals, like dogs and cats, have adapted to make noise to let us know when they want to be fed or be played with!

      These are just a handful of reasons why animals might make noise!
