• Question: Which animals poo do you normally use ?

      Hi Freya! Any poo from any animal can be used to make good things, they have different amounts of energy that you can get out of them – pigs poo is the best for that! My work historically has used cattle manure because I was designing a plant in an area with lots of cows in barns (where their poo can be easily collected).

      When you design a process it’s important to work with the materials that are close and easy to you (even if they’re not the best). pig poo may be the best for making energy but if you have loads of cow poo then let’s use that instead! 🙂
