      Good question!

      Because birds have adapted so well, they can be found almost everywhere on the planet – everything from penguins in Antarctica to birds that live in the desert. Because they are pretty much everywhere, I think that humans would have been surrounded by them as they evolved – so they probably didn’t need much discovering!

      We are still finding new species of birds even now, but we are also losing species as they become extinct 🙁
