• Question: what did you want to be when you were younger?

      When I was really little I actually wanted to be cabin crew on a plane because it seemed glamorous!

      But as I grew up I really liked science at school – I liked the idea of doing something hands on rather than working at a desk ( which I do quite a lot of now anyway!)

      When I was in primary school, I wanted to become a pilot! I loved the idea of flying and thought being in charge of flying planes would be very cool.

      When I started doing my GCSEs, I realised how much I liked science and nature – so turned my interests towards becoming a scientist!
