      This is actually a very easy one to answer!

      There were early dinosaurs around for a long time before chickens had evolved, and we know that dinosaurs laid eggs to reproduce – we have lots of fossilised dino eggs to prove it! In fact, there were probably lots of animal laying eggs even before the dinosaurs.

      So, we can safely say that eggs came before chickens!
