      If you like learning new things about the world and enjoy doing experiments in school, then you’re already on your way to being a scientist!

      I started by choosing subjects that interested me at school (which included science subjects), and eventually picked to do Biology and Maths A-Levels. I then did a science degree at university. This put me in a good position to start my science PhD in animal locomotion!

      There are other ways of becoming a scientist, but picking science subjects and doing a science degree at university is probably the most common way.
