If you mean the extinction event that killed of the dinosaurs, then we believe it’s a mixture of things that helped them survive!

Scientists think that their small size was very useful in keeping them alive, as they could survive of small amounts of food and didn’t use as much energy to move around as the big dinosaurs. Their intelligent bird-brains and beaks also helped them to learn new ways of finding food such as seeds, instead of dying out!
