      There’s no real evidence to suggest that megalodon still exists. It is believed to have gone extinct about 1.6 million years ago as no fossils appear to confirm its existence after this time.

      The vast majority of the ocean depths are still unexplored which people think means that megalodon could still be hiding deep down where we can’t find it, but it is thought that these sharks would have lived much closer to the surface than mysterious deep-sea creatures like the giant squid, which we are definitely sure exists!
