• Question: Could you ever transfer wings onto an animal that doesn't fly?

      We could probably graft wings on to other animals, but I don’t think the animal would then be able to fly – it would take a long evolutionary process for the animal to adapt the right muscles and nerves in order to control the wing, and then it would have to learn how to use them to fly.

      Thankfully, there is such a diversity of animals that already have wings!
