• Question: What was the first dinosaur to existent

      It’s hard to tell which was the first dinosaur to evolve, because we don’t have too many fossils to work with!

      From what I’ve found online, it seems that currently the earliest known dinosaur specimen belongs to a group called Nyasasaurus, which existed about 243 million years ago!

      There were lots of reptile species that existed before dinosaurs evolved, and some of these were called archosaurs 🙂
