      Our cells are living things – therefore they want to be kept at 37 degrees centigrade and have access to oxygen

      They also need a source of food to function – things such as proteins.

      Our cells don’t like being colder, or warmer than this, they don’t like being dry and they don’t like being alone – they die in these conditions
